Promotion of Master Brian Fitzgerald to 9th Degree Black Belt

Don Nagle's AOKA Inc. is pleased to announce the Promotion of Master Brian Fitzgerald to 9th Degree Black Belt.
Master Brian Fitzgerald is one of Nagle's few remaining students who still performs his basics and kata the "Nagle Way" to this day. Fitzgerald soon developed into one of Nagle's top students. In 1977, representing Nagle at Steve Armstrong's 2nd Annual Isshinryu Grand National Tournament in New York, he became Grand Champion.
The promotion was authorized by Grand Master Ed McGrath, Master Ernies Temple and Master Ralph Passero along with all
of the Don Nagle's AOKA Inc. Sr. Black Belts.

Members of the Bayonne High School Karate League recently partcipated in a tournament at the Temple's School of American Isshinryu Karate in Dunellen.
The tournament featured kata, or forms, competition in several age divisions. Here are the Bayonne winners:
- Junior Novice Division: Arman Sandhu, 1st.
- Junior Intermediate Division: Mary Hasaballa, 2nd.
- Young Adult Intermediate Divison: Arbaz Sandhu, 1st; Alexandria Rodriguez, 2nd; Binoub Rizk, 3rd.
- Young Adult Advanced Division: Sami Sadd, 3rd.
